چکیده
Nucleic acid (NA) extraction is a basic step for genetic analysis, from scientific research to diagnostic and forensic applications. It aims at preparing samples its application with biomolecular technologies such as isothermal non-isothermal amplification, hybridization, electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing next-generation sequencing. Multiple steps are involved in NA collection raw samples, including cell separation the rest of specimen, lysis, isolation release. Typically, this process needs molecular biology facilities, specialized instrumentation labor-intensive operations. Microfluidic devices have been developed analyze high efficacy sensitivity. In context, integration within chip sample preparation phase crucial leverage promise portable, fast, user-friendly economic point-of-care solutions. This review presents an overview existing lab-on-a-chip (LOC) solutions designed provide automated human biological fluids, whole blood, excreta (urine feces), saliva. mainly focuses on LOC implementation aspects, aiming describe detailed panorama strategies implemented different preparations.

Recovery of Organisms and Nucleic Acids from Complex Samples
167 The process of recognizing, identifying, and responding to a biological or chemical attack requires multiple stages of sample and information collection and processing. There are several methods for identifying target organisms and nucleic acids in a sample. These methods can be broadly divided into categories, the most commonly used of which are the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), immunol...
متن کاملAn instrument for automated purification of nucleic acids from contaminated forensic samples.
Forensic crime scene sample analysis, by its nature, often deals with samples in which there are low amounts of nucleic acids, on substrates that often lead to inhibition of subsequent enzymatic reactions such as PCR amplification for STR profiling. Common substrates include denim from blue jeans, which yields indigo dye as a PCR inhibitor, and soil, which yields humic substances as inhibitors....
متن کاملA Microfluidic Device for Structural Studies of Nucleic Acids
We assembled a microfluidic device that enables highresolution structural studies of nucleic acids. The device contains a mineral matrix capable of rapidly generating hydroxyl radicals to cleave the solvent accessible backbone of nucleic acids. Protection from radical cleavage (footprinting) can identify protein binding sites or the presence of tertiary structure. Here we report the fabrication...
متن کاملCirculating nucleic acids in plasma and serum: an overview.
The recent interest in nucleic acids in plasma and serum has opened up numerous new areas of investigation and new possibilities for molecular diagnosis. In oncology, tumor-derived genetic changes, epigenetic alterations, and viral nucleic acids have been found in the plasma/serum of cancer patients. These findings have important implications for the detection, monitoring, and prognostication o...
